Fort Myers Flying Club
A Club for Pilots
The Fort Myers Flying Club, originally known as the "Cub Club," was founded in 1959 right here at Page Field (KFMY). We're the oldest flying club in Southwest Florida.
Our goal is to serve and cultivate GA pilots who enjoy the comraderie of fellow pilots and the short and extended flight opportunities the club provides. Some of our members come from airlines or charter or air traffic control. Some learned to fly in the club, and they are now CFIs!
In our monthly membership meetings, safety briefings, special programs and events, we've created an environment that focuses on the enjoyment of getting a PPL and building time and experience with our CFIs to earn the next higher rating.
Membership meetings are held at 7 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Board of Directors/Officers meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the 3rd Monday of each month. Members in good standing are invited to attend the board meetings. Location of meetings is announced each month.
We're non-profit. Our rates are competitive -- just enough to keep our aircraft in great shape and cover expenses, including professional maintenance, hangars for our planes and no-hassle fueling by BaseOps.
What's not to like? Come fly with us!
