Application Process

Welcome to the process of becoming a member of The Fort Myers Flying Club. 

Here's a step-by-step guide to guide you through the membership application process. If you have any questions, please email our membership chair at FMFCMembership@gmail.com

Step 1: Submit your Application online and pay $50 application fee.

Step 2: A credit and background check will be performed. If a satisfactory record is found, the applicant’s information will be passed on to the interview committee

Step 3: Upon the recommendation of the Committee and Membership Chair, the applicant will be invited to meet with the board at a board meeting

Step 4: Your membership application will be reviewed by the board. Once approved by the board, you will receive confirmation of your membership status.

Step 5:

Orientation Session: 

After approval by the board, you will be scheduled for an orientation session. The entrance fee is payable at the time of the orientation session.

During the orientation, you will receive essential information about the club, its facilities, rules, flight circle, and regulations. Payment of Entrance Fee: The entrance fee for all applicants is $2000.

Monthly Dues and Insurance Requirement:

You will be required to pay monthly dues of $90 to maintain your membership status.

Additionally, all members must have renter's insurance with a minimum coverage of $20,000 for non-owned aircraft hull damage.
